Public Skating at Fife Ice Arena costs 

Full Ice Sessions £7 per session

End Ice Sessions £4 per session

Skate Hire - £2.00

Public Skating sessions are as follows:

OPENING TIMES FOR PUBLIC SKATING OVER THE HOLIDAYS.

Sunday 1st January                         CLOSED

Monday 2nd January                       CLOSED

Tuesday 3rd January            10.00am - 12.00pm* & 2.00 - 4.00pm* & 7.00 - 9.00pm.

Wednesday 4th January       10.00am - 12.00pm* & 2.00 - 4.00pm*.

Thursday 5th January           10.00am - 12.00pm* & 2.00 - 4.00pm*.

Friday 6th January                  2.00 - 4.00pm* & 7.00 - 9.00pm.    

 

*Daytime skating £5 entry per person (including skate hire)

Afternoon public skating session 3.00 - 5.00pm.
Monday 10am to 12noon 2pm to 4pm   
Tuesday 10am to 12noon 1pm to 3pm  7pm to 9pm*
Wednesday 10am to 12noon 1pm to 2pm ^  2pm to 4pm
Thursday 10am to 12noon  2pm to 4pm  
Friday No morning session 2pm to 4pm  7pm to 9pm**
Saturday 10am to 12noon - LEARN 2 SKATE *** 2pm to 4pm   
Sunday 9:30am to 11am - LEARN 2 SKATE *** 2pm to 4pm*  
       

* Family Session - 2 adults & 2 children, or 1 adult & 3 children =  £21 (plus £2 skate hire), otherwise £7 per person plus £2 skate hire.

^ Snow Babies Session are charged at £3 for baby plus skate hire, accompanying adult goes free.

** Disco Session

*** Learn to Skate sessions are FULL ICE sessions. £7 per person (including skate hire)

About Us

Fife Ice Arena (originally known as Kirkcaldy Ice Rink) opened in 1938. Kirkcaldy Ice Rink was designed by architects Williamson & Hubbard. Fife Ice Arena is the home venue of the oldest Ice Hockey team in the UK - the Fife Flyers. It is also a venue for public skating, figure skating, speed skating, curling and ice shows. The arena has also hosted concerts, boxing, wrestling, motorcycle ice speedway and other events such as dog shows.
